Current Status update from Australia Post regarding our investigation:
There is an update for your enquiry. |
Hi Katie,
Thank you for letting me know about the issues that you are experiencing at the moment with your express post items. There’s nothing that I can say that makes the inconvenience for both yourself and your customers any better, however I do sincerely apologise. My name is [name removed for security] and I’m going to assist you with this enquiry. I have had a look into this matter and can tell you that we are currently experiencing delays in our network which have impacted our delivery time frames. At this stage I do not believe that these articles have been lost, they are just delayed. Regardless I have opened investigations on all of the tracking numbers that you sent through except for [# removed for security] is an invalid number, [# removed for security] is being sent to an address outside of the network and as are result is within it’s estimated time frame (3-4 business days and expected to arrive by the 26/10) and finally [# removed for security] in which you have already opened an investigation. I will be monitoring these items and upon their delivery you will receive an email letting you know they have been received. Katie, if you can put together a list of all of the tracking numbers that have experienced an express post failure I will be able to provide you with postage refunds. If the items do not arrive and are deemed Lost in Transit we may be able to look at discretionary compensation for the contents, however I will make it clear that Australia Post will not compensate for consequential loss. If you can please let me know the details I can then process these refunds for you. At this stage I would also ask that you send me through a detailed description and the values of all of the articles you mentioned so I can update to case information. I once again would like to apologise and Katie, if there is anything else that you need from me, please do not hesitate to let me know. I look forward to hearing from you. Warm Regards, [name removed for security] MyPost Business Specialist Australia Post |
